The astonishing world of the dinosaurs -

never fails to fascinate. We know so much more about these extraordinary creatures than ever before but the essence of the world in which they lived and moved and the drama of their departure can only be imagined.

John Sibbick captures that essence in the vast sweep of his landscapes and the understanding of the scientific detail in his superbly realised artwork. True to geological time, the book traces the rise and fall of the dynasties of the dinosaurs and chronicles their story through the tales of the dinosaur hunters of the modern age. Science and art combine to make this an outstanding, accessible and beautiful work.
